It covers manufacturing defects and original malfunctions under normal use of the product.

Is air compression actually effective, or does it just feel nice?
Both, and that is rather the point. Sequential air compression squeezes and releases your legs zone by zone, from the ankles upward, instead of gripping everywhere at once. Most people describe their legs as feeling lighter after a twenty-minute session. It is the same style of equipment used by athletes and by people who spend all day on their feet, in a format you can keep beside the couch and actually use every day.
Does the Extended size use the same control unit?
No. The Extended size ships with its own, more powerful control unit, built for its larger chambers.
To keep pressure stable across the full length of the boot, it runs plugged into the wall, with no built-in battery.
It's a design choice specific to the Extended size, made to deliver even compression on larger builds.

AirWave Pro boots cover the whole leg, foot to thigh, with a single wave of pressure that travels upward, fully adjustable. Great for runners and active people who want full-leg recovery after training.
AirPulse Pro boots also cover foot to thigh, but go much further. AirPulse Pro splits each leg into 6 independent air chambers — ankle, lower calf, upper calf, lower thigh, mid thigh, upper thigh — each inflating in sequence with its own pressure. More precise, more programs, still fully adjustable. It's the most complete system we make.
